Biker Bethie

So this past weekend my mom and I went and took the motorcycle safety course so we could get our bike licence. We both passed and are now bikers! I took the bike out on sunday night and just rode around Glace Bay to get use to the bike (we learned on smaller ones) and being on a street with other cars (yikes!) I also wanted to practice stop signs, busy intersections and pulling away on a hill. The only problem I had was when I tried to pull away in second gear (the bike stalled three times....tres embarassing!) Right now I'm in truro sitting in on the nova scotia nurses union meeting which is really interesting. I'll write about that some more later. Here are some pictures of me on the bike.

Last Night To Misbehave

It was my cousin Amanda's bachelorette party Saturday night which meant a lot of fun and some interesting dares. Here are some of the more respectable pictures...There aren't very many.

Happy Birthday To Me (Tomorrow)

So tomorrow is my 25th birthday and tonight we went out to celebrate. I chose Boston Pizza (my favorite place to eat) and our server was Tara who is a second year nursing student now. The poor thing serves us everytime we have a party there. Anyway here are some pictures. New Harris

So Amanda, Scott, his cousin Morgan and Morgan's girlfriend...and I all went to New Harris last night to have some fun and get away from "the city". Scott's uncle (Morgan's father) owns the place and has it open to anyone in the family who wants to use it. We've been up there before and I always love going back. I also took susie up so she could run around and make some new doggie friends. She had a blast as well. We had a campfire and then played pictionary. Amanda and I went for a walk. In the morning I got up to take susie out, and the lake was just beautiful with the sun coming up so I took a picture of that.
