I realized I haven't posted here in a month or so, so I thought I'd do so since I'm just killing time right now. I can't remember what I said about pediactrics but it was just an amazing experience...I really enjoyed being on the floor and can't wait to work with sick kids again. That chance is coming sooner than later because I've been granted a co-op work placement at the IWK! So I'm going to be in Halifax from the middle of June to the middle of august. I'm very excited for this because I missed the city and I'll get to see Jeff and Jeanie as well.
Other than that, I enjoyed the past three weeks in clinical. We worked with Audrey learning how to do Denver assessments, which assesses a child's development to see if they are doing so when they are suppose to and to make sure they have no delays. The little boy I assessed did wonderful and he was very well behaved which was a plus.
I guess that's it right now. At the moment I'm working on finding a sublet for the summer. I found one that looks very promising, just getting some information before I make the final decision.
